Prologue :: The Tower

As I near to the top of the tower I see that Jamarek is right behind me in the glare of one of the lights scattered around the tower at night. I sped my progress in an attempt to best him. This would be the first time. Jamarek was one of the fastest climbers in our group and was only second to Taramaj. The only reason I am besting him today was that he was pulled back to the start because he almost knocked one of the other trainees off the tower. But I'm not worried about that now. I can see the top now and am so close that I can almost taste the freedom I hope to win tonight...
